![]() | Johnny is the founder and co-director of Catch-A-Glimpse Retreat. Johnny was involved in Boy Scouts as a youth where he first enjoyed camping and being outdoors. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and became very active attending scout and church camps in the summer months. Johnny graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in radio/television/film sales & management. He was employed with KATT radio for over 18 years; however, his love of camping and the outdoors inspired him to develop the concept of Catch-A-Glimpse Retreat ministries in the year 1998. In 2001, Johnny began developing youth programming for Buckhorn Camp in Colorado. In a period of five years, the camp experienced tremendous growth, and he realized it was time to further develop his dream. |
“When we found the current location for Catch-A-Glimpse Retreat Center, we knew it was just what God had intended. It is my hope and desire that all who experience our retreat environment will be positively inspired, which will in turn provide a positive influence in our community and our world.”
Kim is the co-director of Catch-A-Glimpse Retreat and has been married to Johnny since 1987. They have two children, Nathan and Lauren.
She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Religion from Oklahoma City University and served as the youth director at May Avenue Methodist church for two years. She then became the Jr. High Youth and Confirmation Director at United Methodist Church of the Servant where she served on staff for 3 years. Kim’s love of music led her back to OCU to pursue a degree in piano pedagogy. She completed her degree and set up a private studio in her home where she has taught for over 20 years. She began writing compositions in 1990 and currently has over 15 pieces in publication. She presently enjoys helping her students aspire to create their own compositions.
“Catch-A-Glimpse Retreat is a beautiful blessing that allows me the opportunity to use my talents to bless others. I can’t wait to see how God will unfold each retreat experience to His glory!”
